Our work allows children to grow up without feeling different, giving them the chance to fully engage with their peers, excel in school, and live without unnecessary emotional burdens — rather than being hidden or sidelined. Through training programs, Masterclasses, operating room collaboration, and ongoing support, Operation Teamwork creates lasting change that impacts not only individual patients, but entire healthcare systems.
Global Collaborations
Collaboration is at the heart of our success. By partnering with major hospitals, universities, and global organizations, we expand our reach and amplify our impact.
NUOY (Vietnam)
Our partnership with NUOY Reconstructive International in Vietnam has been exceptionally successful. NUOY is a highly respected organization offering advanced training across multiple specialties — including craniofacial, hand, and microsurgery — at hospitals and universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and beyond. We are honored to have been invited to join their work, and over the years we have expanded our regenerative surgery program with them to serve in a growing number of capacities.
Cambodia
We are inspired by the enthusiasm, commitment, and collaborative spirit of our Cambodian colleagues, and honored to share our regenerative surgery methods while working alongside surgeons and medical teams across the country to care for children and adults with facial deformities.
Through Operation Teamwork, we have developed strong partnerships with hospitals, national organizations, and Cambodia’s largest public university medical school. At the request of the Dean, we have shared our specialized surgical methods with faculty and taken on an expanded role in the university’s plastic surgery education programs. This reflects both the growing momentum of Operation Teamwork and the trust placed in our team to help advance the future of surgical care in Cambodia.
Operation Smile (Philippines)
In collaboration with Operation Smile, we expanded our efforts to the Philippines, delivering regenerative surgery presentations and discussions at Cebu Doctors University and medical centers in Cebu and Manila, as well as hands-on training in the operating room.
The work we do today is designed to have lasting impact. By training host-country surgeons and surgical teams, we ensure that the skills and knowledge we provide will continue to benefit patients and communities for years to come.
Our goal is to leave behind not just improved surgical outcomes, but a legacy of sustainable healthcare practices that transform lives across the globe. Our years of experience in global medicine have given us insight into other areas where we can make a meaningful difference. We are expanding our services beyond facial deformities, adding teachers and care providers in additional specialties who share our commitment to high-impact change.
With decades of experience in surgery and teaching — at Brown University in the United States, and across parts of Europe, Africa, and South America — we officially launched the primary focus of Phase 2 on January 1, 2022, committed to making the greatest possible impact on healthcare for underserved populations.
We were invited by NUOY Reconstructive International to join them in Vietnam, where we had tremendous success teaching our regenerative surgery program in the operating room and demonstrating advanced methods of care for children with facial deformities who had previously lacked access to these treatments.
Partnering year after year with NUOY and leveraging their remarkable people and infrastructure, we went on to triple the size of our program in Vietnam in response to strong demand from Vietnamese surgeons, universities, and major teaching hospitals.
We subsequently expanded to Cambodia, responding to the local medical community’s desire to bring regenerative surgery to children who lacked access to treatment and were living with untreated deformities. Our teaching and surgical work in Cambodia has grown significantly in 2025 and 2026.
We are expanding our services beyond facial deformities, adding teachers and care providers in additional specialties who share our commitment to high-impact change.
